Mystery on the Internet, an attacker reveals the tricks of the global warming

The news is that hundreds of internal e-mails of the Research Center Climate Change (Cru)
University East Anglia in England ended up on the Internet Thursday night after an attack by a hacker. (così riportano i siti internet che sostengono di essersi letti il materiale in questione) che sarebbe il programma usato per costruire il dataset delle temperature medie superficiali i cui dati provengono dalle osservazioni sparse per il mondo (sia terrestri sia superficiali) e, dopo essere stati trattati, ovvero normalizzati in una griglia, corretti in base a molti parametri (tra cui il coefficiente di correzione per le isole di calore, per esempio), vengono mediati su scala spaziale globale e su scala temporale mensile. Il dataset si chiama Hadcrut3 ed è una delle fonti più accreditate nello studio dell’andamento delle temperature: nonostante le tante richieste di molti scienziati, questo codice non era mai stato rilasciato per intero.
