Surf Contest "King of

Slippy."

Hi incurable travelers, today
wanted to tell you my experience at the surf contest "King of Slippy", which was held on the cruise ship Independence of the Seas of Royal Caribbean International.

On the day of 21 February on the occasion of a visit to Livorno cruise ship, while many English and American tourists, coming down to visit the beauty Un inguaribile viaggiatore a bordo della nave da crociera Independence of the Seas della Royal Caribbean International - Tramonto different cities of Tuscany, the Italian champions in charge of surf Roberto D'Amico and Valentina Vitale came up on the ship to take on 14 other participants in the first tournament that you surf played on a cruise ship.

The competition, organized by Quiksilver, was held at the 13th floor of the cruise ship Independence of the Seas, on their outdoor swimming pool called "FlowRider" which is the first ever surf park on a cruise ship.

I had never witnessed before in a race to surf, but I must admit that the race was interesting and sometimes even fun. (See the movie below).

VIDEO FINAL SURF CONTEST "KING OF Slippy"

The winner of the surf contest "King of Slippy" was Alessandro De Martini, who won a Mediterranean cruise aboard the Liberty of the Seas - sister ship of the Independence of the Seas - Royal Caribbean International's more, while Roberto D'Amico took the second place by winning a voucher worth 1,000 € offered by Quiksilver and the lovely Valentina Vitale was ranked third by winning a good purchase of 500 € always offered by Quiksilver.

Un inguaribile viaggiatore a bordo della nave da crociera Independence of the Seas della Royal Caribbean International - Royal Promenade My participation this event was also an excellent opportunity to visit the ship Independence of the Seas that impressed me is the greatness, just think that inside there is the Royal Promenade, which is a gallery of over 135 meters , which is overlooked by many bars and shops, is home to spectacular night parades that are developed from a revolutionary drawbridge between lights, music and laser beams.

Another aspect that I liked was the excellent quality of services that are offered to cruise passengers of the 'Independence of the Seas, but according to some travelers I met on board, the high quality service is what distinguishes all ships Royal Caribbean International.

L 'Independence of the Seas is the only cruise ship that has within it, an ice rink, where cruise passengers, when they are tired of sunbathing, they can go to watch the shows are worthy of Holiday on Ice.

Before climbing aboard the 'Independence of the Seas, I thought the holidays on a cruise ship, as something boring and suitable for older people, but I have changed his mind. Un inguaribile viaggiatore a bordo della nave da crociera Independence of the Seas della Royal Caribbean International - Parete roccia

In my browsing on board the 'Independence of the Seas, I could see the guests, as well as surfing on the pool can surf FlowRider call, they can also do rock climbing, play miniature golf, dancing, playing at casinos, shopping, going to see the shows in these two theaters (the largest holds up to 1350 people).

I was particularly struck whirlpools that are suspended outside the sides of the ship to over 30. m above sea level, must be a great feeling, getting the tub when the ship is at sea!

If you love surfing or simply want to take a nice cruise, Royal Caribbean International offers two interesting destinations

1) 7-night cruise aboard the Mariner of the Seas, departing from Genoa on 23 July to 3 September with stops in Cannes, France, Ajaccio, Corsica; Barcelona, \u200b\u200bPalma de Mallorca, Spain. Prices start from 829 € per person, taxes, insurance and gratuities included.

Carnival in Ptuj (Slovenia)

Hi incurable travelers, the goal that I wanted is today reporting Ptuj (Slovenia) and its carnival.

Un inguaribile viaggiatore in Slovenia – Il castello di Ptuj Siovenia In many places, celebrating its Pust, Carnival. A festival with ancient roots, which re-dances, masks, legends and traditions of great charm and this time there are several minute which is a shame not to take advantage.

The moment when the winter is less cold and the beginning of the new agricultural cycle in the tradition of Slovenia have the cheerful sign of Pust, Carnival. It was a time of a period of revelry, which revived the pagan rites and upset the social order, but especially in the Siovenia Pust was linked to the dances and the masks of the peasants. Today in many places Slovenian trying to restore these traditional festivals.

Among the most interesting Carnevali, is undoubtedly one of Ptuj (in Italian Petrov), a city of Roman origin in the lower valley of the Drava, the ideal destination for those who enjoy the pleasures of wine, cuisine and spas and nature walks.
The protagonist here is the figure of Pust Kurent or, as it is called here, Korant, form dark animalistic traits that seem to sprout from the mists of time.

Un inguaribile viaggiatore in Slovenia – carnevale di Ptuj - il Kurent The Kurent is nothing but a loud "hunter of the winter, dressed in a fur of sheep, surrounded by a chain from which hang bells and handkerchiefs. On her head a terrifying mask, adorned with feathers, horns and colorful ribbons.
These masks are a national symbol: appear on stamps, participate in several folk events abroad and can be enjoyed year-round in the relevant section of the museum housed in the Castle.

Since 1960, Ptuj, each year organizes the popular Kurentovanje, (now known as the Carnival in Ptuj) in a festival which, together with Korant, traditional parade and carnival figures evoke land uses. From

Markovci, and Podlehnik Lančov vas, villages near Ptuj arrive "cultivators" who over the centuries Past traced the first furrows. Other masks are rusa, representing animals, the devil, the grandfather and grandmother, gypsies, fairies and ploharji (who must drag a beam through the village). Lately
Pust Ptuj has become more cosmopolitan, thanks to the inclusion of other figures "Dionysian" similar to Korant, also from other European countries.

Among the most representative buildings is the famous Castle of Ptuj, which now houses an interesting museum, which includes elegant with original furniture, paintings and antiques on the ground floor there are the ancient musical instruments, while the second floor traditional masks are visible in the area, which can be seen during Carnival.
In the old town is the wine cellar, which has a tradition of more than 700 years and retains the oldest Slovenian wine (1917). A

Cerknica however, the symbolic figure shooting in forms (which is no trace in documents of 1551) is that of Ursula, an old witch, with a tooth, and hump himself, always straddled the broom is considered the progenitor and the progenitor of all the witches.
This is a figure from the time of the Reformation when Cerknica was epicenter of the witch hunt. Cerknica is "visited" even JEZERKA, a legendary monster of Lake Cerkno, which brings with frogs and a huge pike. Finally, there are Martin Krpan with his mare and Butalci, the inhabitants of the imaginary country of Butala, creators of outlandish pranks.
addition to the single intermittent lake near Cerknica you can visit the cave Jama Križna with twenty-two underground lakes and Sneznik century castle, one of the few come down to us intact with original furnishings.

Un inguaribile viaggiatore in Slovenia – carnevale di Cerkno - i laufarji Cerkno A typical Carnival masks, laufarji these are real works of art crafts made of wood, leaves, pine cones, moss and straw.
laufarji The family includes 24 characters: the central figure is the Pust, Carnival, wearing a horned mask and a costume that can weigh up to 80 pounds, was sentenced to death after a mock trial, which recognizes him guilty of all the mistakes made during the year on earth.
Near Cerkno are a popular ski resort, a cave adorned with beautiful concretions of aragonite and partisan hospital hidden in a canyon stream. A

Drežnica, the people renew every year faithfully, ancient carnival costumes. In this time of year you can see the locals while wearing the old traditional forms, such PstI, made from the skins of sheep and colored strips of cloth, to give life to a battle with dusty bags of ashes. The masks, built partly of wood, are the most illustrious tradition of this area.

DeAgostini - Neuschwanstein in 3D

Finally available in the library, a series of volumes produced by DeAgostini , in collaboration with Giuseppe Della Pina and PlaySys .

PlaySys
via Friuli 61
20135 Milano

We participated in the implementation of the various volumes, providing a 3D graphics support for the construction of paper models to be built, and part of the instructions covers . This work did not require an extreme photorealism, indeed, to the textures of the models we have chosen to use instead of our illustrators of the pictures, thus diversifying the "touch" the various works. The design on paper, being more complex than ever, was operated independently by Pamela De Lorenzi .

has been made 3D models with low polygon count for the various monuments, then we have made changes, adding detail where necessary and simplification of the areas that became too critical in the construction phase. The completion of the instructions, and part of the cover were made by PlaySys. In our archives we have several paper prototypes of the monuments published and unpublished ... seems like a simple job, but there are many steps behind each model, and I hope you will appreciate our work and have fun building them, as we enjoyed about it!

The books are intended for young audiences, but they are also an excellent product for scholars and collectors of all ages.
