After the experience of the Helsinki Metropolitan University is reached (and passed) the my second speech at the View Conference in Turin. The main Italian event on 3D computer graphics took 26 to 29 October 2010. I have been invited to give a lecture / workshop on 27, from 9 to 12 and I have discussed the following topics: Why use
- realtime?
- differences, advantages and disadvantages between realtime and offline rendering
- vs Low poly. Hipoly
- The strength of the material shader
- Design
- Post-production
- UDK and Maxwell Render compared
In fact I could not handle everything in the manner expected for two reasons: lack of a computer participants, in order to try to hand the topics of the workshop and the limited time available. I managed to mention something about the hybrids, right in front of innovation "long term". In the next speech / workshop I would like to treat more nel dettaglio Arion Render di Random Control .
A follow video tutorials will leave others in the series "SFEI Advanced Computer Graphic Training" which render the deal and post-production engines with offline (Mentalray, VRay, Maxwell Render, Render Fry and so on).
During the event I also had the opportunity to meet Simone Corso, Andrea Gatti , Pennella Giulio and Domenico Perazzo. I highly recommend viewing of their work because they deserve! I also met Marco Tudini , concept artist struggling with the direction of the film Left 4 Dead .
In conclusion I would like to thank Yves Hohler and Elisa Farinetti for hospitality at their home in Turin, Giulio Pennella for the opportunity within SFEI and everyone who attended my workshop and the View Conference 2010.
